Shaker Heights, OH
Designed in 1928 by Maier & Walsh for Wilbert J. Austin, this French Normandy-style Tudor and stone residence is among the street’s earliest structures, with ties to the early design-build movement. The studio adapted it for a growing family, preserving original craftsmanship while introducing a more expressive, contemporary point of view in an ongoing conversation between past and present.
